Ebay Bucks Pickup:
The first of my two ebay bucks purchases came in yesterday, and I couldn't be happier! I started my Seager Bowman 2013 refractor project about two years ago, but I gave up after realizing it would be way too expensive to get the red and canary refractors. It was just too hard for me to justify paying hundreds for those cards, especially when I paid virtually nothing for the gold and orange refractors a few years ago. I now regret not going after the canary and red refractors harder, especially after seeing another Dodgers blogger acquire them for his collection (At least one of us has them now). The prices have skyrocketed, and understandably so...so what did I do? The next best thing: Magenta Refractor /32. The card is beautiful, and it is so sharp, it could very well grade 10. I literally couldn't find anything wrong with it. This pristine card will definitely be graded in the future, so stay tuned. Thanks for stopping by, and GO DODGERS!

Great pick up...uh.. you wouldn't have bought that from "Skorpnix" did you? If you did that was me. We should have done a trade instead. Great price btw = )

Hmm, I think that was you lol...was this the one that got a raw grade 9? If so, I am shocked, because it looks perfect! The price was right for sure! I've got one more ebucks pickup to show. I'll probably post it up tomorrow.

DeleteYup that was me then. I would have sent it in for a bump as I also think it would get a higher grade but when I saw the othet I just decided to get 8x ebucks on that one and sell this one for extra cash. Congrats again. Good deal
DeleteThat was smart on your part for sure. This card has to be the nicest raw grade 9 I've ever seen! I had other cards from that year grade 9.5, and they were not even close to being as sharp as this card. I guess it just goes to show you it's all subjective. You notice I paid immediately? haha

DeleteI am a "sucker" for gem mints so when I get the chance I "upgrade". Haha. Yes I noticed you paid promptly just as I am sure you noticed I shipped promptly. = )

This will no doubt be gem, just wait and see. If I had known it was you, I totally would have done a direct deal via PP gift. At least now I know for next time :-)
